About me

My Vision

An executive landscape where women excel at the highest levels of decision-making.

I envision a future where visible female role models are the standard, not the exception—creating a robust succession pipeline that provides a measurable competitive advantage and long-term organisational stability.

My Mission

To provide tactical up-skilling for high-potential women in Financial Services. I work to strengthen succession pipelines by helping leaders refine their executive presence and navigate complex stakeholder environments with precision.

Hi, I'm Joanna

I envision a world in which women are empowered to step up in their lives, their roles and their organisations.  Where businesses celebrate and benefit from optimising the skills, strengths and experience of a diverse workforce in a competitive landscape.

As an ICF Strategic Leadership Coach, Trainer and Facilitator, I specialise in the acceleration of high-potential, mid-career women within Financial Services. I provide tailored, value-aligned leadership development that helps women make the deliberate decision to go for senior roles, and to lead with a clear executive presence. This approach creates a robust pipeline of leaders who are not only ready for the C-suite but are deeply invested in your firm’s long-term success.

Coaching with me often starts with a focus on values, on strengths and identifying what clients have to offer, their unique value add. We then build on that to understand what success looks like for them and to develop a plan for how to get there.  Building executive-level presence often means growing confidence, honing communication skills, strategic thinking, building a brand or reputation, and navigating senior-level stakeholders.

My goal is to increase female representation at the table, one woman at a time.

I work with businesses who want to strengthen their talent pipeline, reduce attrition and help prepare high potential senior women for top roles.  My coaching targets increased retention and growth of top female talent, a robust internal succession pipeline, and a measurable competitive advantage through effective, diverse senior leadership.  I look for opportunities to help others realise their full potential and maximise their contribution to their organisation providing stability and retaining organisational knowledge and  networks.

I understand the dynamics of power and influence

I have 25+ years’ experience in business development, project and event management, communications and leadership working with Boards and C suite stakeholders in the voluntary sector and the City. I use this wide-ranging experience to help clients build their executive presence, understand the dynamics of power and influence and use the superpower of self-awareness to navigate their careers and goals.

I was a Trustee of the Suzy Lamplugh Trust for nine years and continue in a strategic capacity as a member of their Corporate Advisory Group .  I am committed to helping women find their voice, and their power, to achieve their potential and have a career and a life they love.

I combine professional commercial experience with solid coaching skills with empathy and humour

I have been honing my commercial and communication skills since entering the world of work in the mid-nineties.  I have partnered with a wide range of big UK brands and international names including, Merrill Lynch, Insight Investments, Farrow and Ball, Daihatsu, Roche, Bayer, AbbVie, Novo Nordisk, B&Q, Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Virgin, Carlsberg, and many more. I have learned to focus on really understanding how to meet the needs of my clients.

I have worked for a number of household names like the Royal Academy of Arts and the Royal Horticultural Society as well as a most formative time at Standard Chartered Bank. More recently, I spent 12 incredible years helping build the partnerships, community, brand, communications, engagement, profile and track record at the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness.

More about me

My pronouns are she/ her.  I live by the sea in Brighton, on the UK’s south coast, with my partner and two funny, kind, and curious children.  I balance my working life by spending time with family, friends and being outside in nature.   The big skies, whether up on the Downs or, more regularly, down on the beach, and, when I can, in the sea, help give me the space, light and perspective to bring my whole self to my clients and my business.

I’m a Barefoot trained coach with a Level 5 coaching qualification and PCC accreditation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF)
